Our stay at Forrest Hills Resort was refreshing, especially with the peaceful environment and beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin we stayed in was quite comfortable and had a cozy feel with a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi. However, there were some areas that could use improvements, particularly the lack of daily housekeeping and a few amenities. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want to escape into nature and enjoy some outdoor activities.

I had a lovely stay at the resort, especially because of the secluded and peaceful environment that made it perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff really made our experience special with their attentive service, and our room was spacious and comfortable. However, the dining options could use some improvement, particularly the dinner buffet, which was underwhelming. The location was somewhat remote, being quite a distance from the wineries we had wanted to visit, which was a bit disappointing.

The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, although I did notice that the jetted tub in the main room felt a bit odd being so exposed. There were some updates, but it could still use a bit more touch-up work.

Location

The resort is quite remote, about 20 minutes away from any stores or the wineries we wanted to visit, which made planning our outings a bit tougher.

While we enjoyed breakfast, the dinner buffet was rather lackluster, and I wouldn't choose that option again. However, I did enjoy the atmosphere of the Secret Dining room.

Our stay was a blend of highs and lows. The Wilderness lodge provided us with a spacious and clean room that was updated nicely, which was a definite plus. However, there were frustrating issues like the dinner buffet not living up to expectations and some disappointments in cleanliness, particularly in the Tree Topper Lodge. Still, the serene environment and nearby activities made for a relaxing getaway overall.
